What to Expect at Your Appointment
Consultation and color selection: we'll start by discussing your natural lip color, skin tone, and the shade you're looking for. Lip blush pigments are matched to complement your complexion — typically coral, nude, rose, or berry tones — and will look more saturated immediately after the procedure than the healed result.
The procedure: topical numbing cream is applied before and during the session to keep you comfortable. The process typically takes 2–3 hours including consultation, mapping, and pigment application.
Immediately after: your lips will look noticeably more saturated than the final result — sometimes 40–60% darker than healed — and will feel slightly tender and swollen for 24–48 hours. This is completely normal and temporary.

- Skip lip products entirely for the first 7–10 days

Typically 2–3 years before a color refresh is needed, though this varies by skin type, lifestyle, and sun exposure. Oilier skin tones and those who spend significant time outdoors may see fading sooner. Annual or bi-annual touch-ups are common for clients who want to maintain full saturation.
