Microblading uses a hand-held blade to etch individual hair-like strokes — beautiful for dry, normal skin but prone to blurring on oily skin. Powder Brows are the better choice for anyone with oily skin, large pores, mature or thinning skin, or a history of permanent makeup that didn't heal well. Oil naturally pushes pigment around in the skin, which causes microbladed strokes to blur into a single soft line over time — defeating the whole point of the hair-stroke look. Powder shading is unaffected by skin oil and heals to the same soft finish on every skin type.
