Correction & Cover-Up — Fixing Permanent Makeup That Went Wrong

Brow corrections are for anyone unhappy with previous brow tattoo work — pigment that faded to the wrong color, a shape that doesn't suit your face, uneven or asymmetric healed results, or old tattoos done years ago. Corrective work restores natural shape, color, and symmetry using the technique your brows actually need, whether that is microblading, powder brows, or a combination.

Some corrections begin with lightening. When old pigment is too dark or discolored to cover cleanly, saline removal first produces a cleaner, more controlled final result — Katy holds her Li-FT Saline Removal certification from Teryn Darling, Girlz Ink, and offers saline removal at the studio. Your consultation determines whether correction, lightening first, or a combination gives you the best outcome.

Every correction appointment starts with a full consultation and custom brow mapping — measuring facial symmetry, bone structure, and natural brow shape, and designing the corrected brow with you before any pigment is applied. You review and approve the shape before work begins.

Initial healing takes about 7–10 days: the area appears darker at first, then softens. Full healing takes 6–8 weeks. The required 6–8 week perfecting touch-up is billed at $100 as a separate, required session — it is never included in the initial price.
